How and when did you start skating? 1992. It was a gang initiation thing.
Who were you skating with at first? Myself.
What terrain were you riding at first? Flat ground and a piece of wood with a 2 x 4 under one end.
Who were some early influences on your skating? The bad, older kids with green hair and 42-inch waist jeans.
Do you enjoy skating in contests? No.
How could contests be improved? Weapons.
What is good / bad about being a pro? Everything's good, nothing's bad.
What do you think of skate videos? Less blah-blah-blah, more raw-raw-raw.
Which are your favorites? Barbarians at the Gate.
Do you enjoy shooting video parts? Oh, its the best!
Do you skate small stuff like curbs and parking bumps? Exclusively.
Why are curbs not allowed in magazines and videos anymore? They're not allowed anymore?!
When was the last time you saw a curb in a magazine or video? Do you skate vert ramps? Not really. If I do, it’s toward the bottom where its flat.
Do you skate backyard pools? I don't do pools.
What do you think of public concrete skateparks? They’re a good place to sell shoe packages.
How could they improve the design? By not letting complete boneheads design them.
Should skateparks copy real street spots like Love Park and EMB? Yes, but security guards and homeless people should be included in the overall design.
How did you get on Emerica? Bethany Regan is a close personal friend of mine.
What do you like about Emerica? They're my bros and they pay for my crystal healing sessions in New Mexico.
Who do you skate with now? Everybody.
Who are your favorite skaters of all time? Tino Razo.
What have been the highlights of your skateboarding career? I was on the BET Network once, I think.
Is there anything in skateboarding you haven't done that you'd like to accomplish? A reality show and sports drink deal. Duh.
What do you enjoy besides skating? I enjoy everything besides skating.
What music, art, books have you been enjoying lately? Religious literacy by S. Prothero.

I'm 19! and in Canada that means that I am now an adult with all the legal rights. Now that I am, what should I do starting today? Well I can now buy alcohol (Legally ahaha). Well my good friends are throwing me a party, oh lord like I dont party enough already. I can only expect this one to be insane cause since I'm the birthday boy they will get me thrashed! Heh well what are friends for if they dont get you insanely drunk every now and then haha.
Well I dont feel much older, bolder, wiser and whatever I'm suppose to attain as an adult. I guess that comes in time, but I felt much more older and different when I turned 16. I dont know, about other people when they became a full fledge adult, how they felt about it and after. For me, Its just another day and the life of Jeremy. A sad pathetic one indeed... ahahah im messing with you guys, I love you all that read this, cause really I dont think i have anything important to say, but if you do then thats awsome and I love you for that.

The closest thing to being on a skateboard, Electronic Arts (Nasdaq: ERTS) announced September 19, 2006 that SKATE will be released for the PlayStation®3 system and the Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system in 2007. SKATE will deliver the feel of skating through innovative controls, authentic cameras and a fully reactive skateboarding city. The game so far features professional skaters such as Danny Way, Jerry Hsu, Chris Cole, Jason Dill, Dennis Busenitz, and PJ Ladd, as well as a reactive city and relevant in-game cameras that capture and deliver the most authentic skateboard videogame experience to date.
"Our game offers a skate mecca for both skaters and gamers in search of the definitive authentic skating video game experience," said Scott Blackwood, executive producer, EA Black Box. The UBF: Episode One was released today and I waited a good month or so for this short film. The online film is approx. 10min long and it focused mainly on Paul Machnau even though there were other Globe Team riders in the film. Pro-Skaters like Chris Haslam, Mark Appleyard, Jake Duncombe, and David Gonzalez. David Gonzalez only performs one trick in the entire film (which he doesn't even ), so I dont think he counts as an appearance but whatever he was there. Some Team Riders weren't seen such as Rodney Mullen, Matt Mumford and Greg Lutzka.
Paul Machnau was taking care of business with the rails, but what stood out to me was the kickflip to lipslide, the hip gap to lipslide, and the huge gap he ollied at the end his first part of his episode. I guess Paul's favourite trick for this video were the Lipslides and the Bluntslides since he did them quite a bit. Even though this Episode was focused on Paul Machnau, Chris Haslam had some great tricks in this episode. Like the One-Foot Tail Grab and the (Ride-in?) 50-50 to wallride. And Mark Appleyard's Heelfip Body Varial and Heelflip 50-50 trasition trick was dope!
The Cinematography in the Black/White segments felt somewhat post-modern with a slightly vague but interesting and creative concept. There was smoother transitions and I found it to be captivating aside from the skateboarding. The Filming of the skateboarding itself was very well done. Good framed shots, camera angles and camera movement. There were some shots that were quite unique at to the positioning of the camera and the movement. I also liked how the was a part at the end that ties Chris Haslam's Episode to this one. It hooks you into anticipation for the next episode if you haven't already after watching this episode.
