Established October 27th, 1995, we started out as a record store. We sold tapes, CDs, 7 inches, and rare vinyl until spring of 96, when it was decided that skateboarding had to be incorporated into the shop. We hosted over 150 bands and had intimate shows in our back venue. This was between fall 1995 until March of 1998, when our local fire department decided to shut us down for 'safety' reasons. We moved on, putting together skate demos, competitions, and building a strong skate team. We turned the old venue into a private bowl. We got the chance to open a second location in downtown Montreal on St-Catherine Street. So now we were established in Montreal. After Slam City Jam ‘04 and two tours across Canada in the Under Attack bus. Underworld was ready to open a new store. We opened in Vancouver Nov 2004. Underworld also has its own TV show on Global TV and MusiquePlus in Quebec. We also hold one of the biggest skate contest for amateur skateboarder in Montreal called Am Getting Paid.
