-sponsor ship-
I need to know what sponsors like to see, which tricks, stairs, handrails, what does it take someone please tell this i have a skate team im working with called
''serpents union''.

my name is Tyler owens but my friends call me scarface due to the fact that i have a scar thats pretty big on my face but it looks cool. I got it from a car wreck that almost killed me. It was a head on collision, like ramming in to a wall going 80mph and not knocking it down. Needless to say i was back on my board in one and a half weeks with one hundred fifty nine stitches, i was rockin em well as a matter of fact adam dyet a pro sakter of darkstar,dekline,bones,etc.. met me at a demo at new-generation skate park it was the dekline demo to be exact he asked me what happened and i told him about the wreck and he said ''your lucky to be here alive kid''  i said yea and sk8boarding is part of the reason too. Most will look at that and say haha how did skateboarding help you survive, well the doc said that if i were so healthy i would have died, of course im healthy because of sk8ing.
well thats all i have time to say if anyone has questions send me a message.http://www.myspace.com/tylerowens123

CORE Action Takes on the Action Sports Community

Grapevine, Texas (November 21, 2008)--CORE Action has entered full-steam into the action sports social culture. Having completed its beta-stage the CORE Action website has launched revealing its edgy, gritty look and first-rate content. At the heart of COREaction.com is the Nation, an action sports community that provides a forum for enthusiasts of all ages to communicate, share and express themselves through the sports they love.

CORE Action also provides its viewers with day-to-day coverage of what's happening in the action sports world--skateboarding, snow sports, surfing, motocross, BMX and water sports are all covered highlighting the best news, events, photos and videos from each discipline. CORE also informs and entertains users with in-house video coverage, featuring one-on-one interviews with top-pros, hot on the scene action from local and national events and short entertaining vignettes to get the adrenaline pumping.

While CORE reports on what's going on in the pro scene, our real ambition is to provide a forum for the young and up-and-coming athletes to get their story out and let themselves be known. Gone are the days of sending in "sponsor-me" tapes to companies in desperate and often futile attempts to get noticed. With CORE, the athlete can log-on to the Nation and post a bio, videos and photos in an effort to promote themselves within the community. CORE's main objective is to support the sport's underdogs and amateurs and to forge lasting partnerships within our member network as we grow into the future.

"Not only do we provide up-to-date original content, but we do it in a safe environment where kids are protected and can be among their peers." Kent Holcomb, President of CORE Action explains, "We closely follow the COPPA laws which protect underage kids from predators and mature content."

Nick Moscia CORE Action Marketing Director agrees, "We're all about reaching out to the action sports community. For us, it's about the kids. This is a place where they can hang out, chat with friends and check out the latest videos, news and events."

The CORE staff comes from within the action sports culture--skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing, BMX and motocross. From the slopes of the Rocky Mountains to waves of Cocoa Beach, Florida, the CORE crew are embedded in their prospective scenes. Preserving the culture and empowering riders to enjoy their sports and to reach full potential is our objective at CORE Action.

CORE Philosophy--Within every discipline of action sports lay a CORE group of people. They are the ones pushing the boundaries and limits on a daily basis. CORE riders raise the bar and create new standards for the rest to follow. They are the epicenter of the Industry and help keep our Culture alive and thriving. These devoted folks eat, drink and sleep the sport which they are true to and willingly make sacrifices to keep the ride going. Living a CORE lifestyle defines these individuals and establishes a place for them in this world...

CORE Action was founded in 2007 and is an internet-based action sports community which specializes in social networking and providing premium action sports related content. For more information go to www.COREaction.com.

It was unknown untill it gradually presented it's self as a pre-conceived notion of happiness and a source of solace that one can throw themselves into oh so willingly knowing the full consequences of forcing a fallacy to become some abstract perspective of what one can only hope to be a reality.  Selfish acts such as what one has done can only be lived with on the lesson that one learns which is even though everything even remotely relevant to a significant other can not be forced or falsely believed to go how one may want it no matter if it always didn't go as planned in the past one has to let it be.  By despertately clinging on to the positive words said by another one can be put into a state of false reassurance that gets obliterated repetitiously by the biased thoughts that are always contemplated by one daily.  It's not an obsession it's the ultimate wish of ones life that was percieved to be actually in ones grasp.  It's the unfathomable feeling that one would want to be able to share.  The ever fluctuating emotions that are always felt is something that can throw one into multiple yet diverse states of depression excitement anxiety hopefulness that are harmful to ones resolve at times.  Never has it been within ones comprehension how someone elses words could be irrelevant but someone that is special to someone can send one into a downwards spiral of psychological bewilderment by just informing one of something that has even the smallest hint of the complete opposite of what one would want.  One's resolve struggles to stand strong but one is only human and can only withstand the tempting malicious charm of giving in and.....just putting one's heart where it belongs....which means alone to one's self.  One strives to analyze situations from diverse perspectives in order to do nothing but understand it all.  One....one would want everything to just be okay just for once.  Impossible it will always be for one to have ad ay of contemplation that doesn't include the single thought of....of you.  One read "surrender was never an option when it came to you" and one procured a perspective that from this day on there will never be just one anymore no matter what the future brings one will keep you in ones heart and when one looks back and notices one meant everything one said...one disappears.....now it's just me....just me standing here standing true to everything I have ever said...Just me remembering how it feels to actually believe for an instant that you meant what you said to me.  Just me sitting here everynight that I don't talk to you making excuses to myself as to why I shouldn't cry and just give up.  Just me at this very moment writing this full of tears as silent gags of regret escape my throat in front of these people I've come to call my friends.  Just me realizing as I am writing this...nothing will ever change.  Just me having even stronger feelings for you despite the conversations I've painfully yet silently endured about mutual association and "just friends".  Just me wanting you to know that I love you and I will always try to be there for you one way or the other friends, more than friends, even if we begin to drift apart and become nothing I respect everything you said and will understand your decisions in the future...I just want to say I'm sorry and I've never felt the need to be so apologetic in my life but it's just me now helping you
worrying you
annoying you
understanding you
respecting you
loving you
wanting you
missing you...
infinitely waiting for you....

Just me fully putting 110% in this all for you...
Just me...dedicating everything I have left to you....

My Blog: wear red
By: Asmurf24

Will you give this to my Daddy?

As a Company, Southwest Airlines is going to support 'Red Fridays.'

Last week I was in , attending a conference. While I
was in the airport, returning home, I heard several people behind me
beginning to clap and cheer I immediately turned around and witnessed
one of the greatest acts of patriotism I have ever seen.

Moving thru the terminal was a group of soldiers in their camos. As they
began heading to their gate, everyone (well alm ost everyone)was abruptly
to their feet with their hands waving and cheering.

When I saw the soldiers, probably 30-40 of them, being applauded and
cheered for, it hit me. I'm not alone. I'm not the only red-blooded
American who still loves this country and supports our troops and their
families.

Of course I immediately stopped and began clapping for these young
unsung heroes who are putting their lives on the line everyday for us so
we can go to school, work and home without fear or reprisal.

Just when I thought I could not be m ore proud of my country or of our
service men and women, a young girl, not more than 6 or 7 years old ran
up to one of the male soldiers. He kneeled down and said 'hi.'

The little girl then asked him if he would give something to her daddy
for her.

The young soldier, who didn't look any older than maybe 22 himself,
said he would try and what did she want to give to her daddy. Then
suddenly the little girl grabbed the neck of this soldier, gave him the
biggest hug she could muster and then kissed him on the cheek.

The mother of t he little girl, who said her daughter's name was
Courtney, told the young soldi er that her husband was a Marine and had
been in Iraq for 11 months now. As the mom was explaining how much her
daughter Courtney missed her father, the young soldier began to tear up.

When this temporarily single mom was done explaining her situation, all
of the soldiers huddled together for a brief second. Then one of the
other servicemen pulled out a military-looking walkie-talkie. They
started playing with the device and talking back and forth on it.

After about 10-15 seconds of this, the young soldier walked back over to
Courtney, bent down and said this to her, 'I spoke to your daddy and he
told me to give this to you.' He then hugged this little girl that he
had just met and gave her a kiss on the cheek. He finished by saying
'your daddy told me to tell you that he loves you more than anything and
he is coming home very soon.'

The mom at this point was crying almost uncontrollably and as the young
soldier stood to his feet, he saluted Courtney and her mom. I was
standing no more than 6 feet away from this entire event

As the soldiers began to leave, heading towards their gate, people
resumed their applause As I stood there applauding and looked around,
there were very few dry eyes, including my own. That young soldier in
one last act of selflessness, turned around and blew a kiss to Courtney
with a tear rolling down his cheek.

We need to remember everyday all of our soldiers and their families and
thank God for them and their sacrifices. At the end of the day, it's
good to be an American.

RED FRIDAYS ----- Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing
Red every Friday. The reason? Americans who support our troops used to
be called the 'silent majority'. We are no longer silent, and are
voicing our love for God, country and home in record b reaking numbers.

We are not organized, boisterous or over-bearing.. We get no liberal
media coverage on TV, to reflect our message or our opinions. Many
Americans, like you, me and all our friends, simply want to recognize
that the vast majority of supports our troops.

Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity
and respect starts this Friday -and continues each and every Friday
until the troops all come home, sending a deafening message that.. Every
red-blooded American who supports our men and women afar will wear
something red.

By word of mouth, press, TV -- let's make the on every
Friday a sea of red much like a homecoming football game in the
bleachers.

If every one of us who loves this country will share this with
acquaintances, co-workers, friends, and family. It will not be long before the is covered in RED and it will let our troops know the
once 'silent' majority is on their side more than ever; certainly more
than the media lets on.

The first thing a soldier says when asked 'What can we do to make
things better for you?' is...We need your support and your prayers.

Let's get the word out and lead with class and dignity, by example; and
wear something red every Friday.

IF YOU AGREE -- THEN SEND THIS ON.

IF YOU COULD CARE LESS THEN HIT THE DELETE BUTTON --- IT IS YOUR
  CHOICE.

Sometimes I feel that my mom and dad & my family hates me. they will never understand me. I feel that i am talking to a brick wall. All they think of me is as stupied little girl that would not know right from wrong. I try my best to push myself. Were I want to be the someone pusses me back down . This is the last time they are do this to me. If they want to helpo fine if they dont they can stay out of my way. I am the dumist in this world.

I

You & me are nothing a like!

You and i are nothing a like . you don't have hard times . I hate beginning a teenager. My family is not giving me sport. If it was up to me i will put it in hell. Why are yoy so hard on me and just me?

Nothing

Do you ever feel that you are nothing? I do sometimes , because alot of people don't really want to get to know me to be my friend. they just like to listen to another people that passes rumors  around then to everyone they know. Then most of these people that heard it they will not aks if it is true . For a few weeks I have had this experiane. One of my best guy friends said something & he said it to a person that person said it to other. Then my other friend told me. So I asked that person if he said what I heard he said no . He just thinks I am annoying sometimes. It felt that the whole world hates me!Why should i be hear if know to comes and talk to me again. He and I could see eye to eye. We both can stand up for each other. I feel that my world is taking and i am going to go to hell. I wish that i was a pretty girl , because maybe i will get some respect. He is a very sweet guy . But he knows that he hurt me . he cares but he his own problems to deal with

" i love you" she whispers softly.
she touches his face, then looks away
he is so peaceful, so innocent.
why was his life taken away?
why was he never given the chance to dream?
why was he never allowed to receive a diploma?
he was never allowed to finish his teenage life.
friends look on, tears rolling down their faces
his smile had touched each one,
his love, his life, would never be forgotten.
he meant so much to so many
yet, he never really knew how much
so many statements went unsaid
so many feelings left unrevealed.
she looks again as they close the casket
the words she whispers now,
fall upon unhearing ears.
she never told him the true feelings
she'd kept forever in her heart
"i love you" she whispers again
"i wish i'd told you sooner."
the casket closes and her heart skips a beat.
her heart hurts and the tears fall.
a love left untold--buried forever.

(this poem is dedicated to my friend who lost her boyfriend jason...rest in peace jason and never forget that emily loves you so much even though you are gone).

Popdeck is essentially a skateboard design competition. Started out as a passion between our love for design/art and skateboarding. We have always collected cool decks as art after we skated them up, and this was just the natural progression.

So who is popdeck or involved with creating the idea?

My twin brother and myself start Popdeck. We were previously in the t-shirt business and have always had a passion for skateboarding. We're located in Chicago.

How does it work?

We have an ongoing contest for skateboard art and every 3 weeks we pick a winner, pay them a prize and print there board. The community has the obligation of choosing the winners by rating each design submitted out of 5. After a winner is chosen, we award them 200 dollars and a free deck.

Where are the boards made?

Our boards are made in Pennsylvania by the good people of Penn Woods.

Where did you get the idea for the website?

We were pretty involved in the design community from our prior work, and just were so impressed by the different mediums people could use to create art. Being skateboarders since forever, it just seemed like a cool idea.

Do you think more people buying popdeck’s are skating their decks or do you think they are using them as art or to hang on their walls?

Right now we want to say that 90 percent of boards sold are by skateboarders. I think though over the past few years, we have really seen a push to people presenting skateboards as art and we hope to open up into that more. To be honest, you really can’t get a great piece of art for cheaper then 40 bucks. But, at the end of the day, it is a skateboard and most people are grinding them up.

What do you think is the relationship between Skateboarding and Art?

Skateboarding has always been a way for people to express themselves. Whether it is by mastering tricks or the entire graffiti and streetwear scene that goes with it. I think it is a dual serving relationship and we have seen a lot of artist come out that were skaters, these guys then become great artist and then give back to the skate community. A prime example of this to me is having these great grafitti artist that came out in the 90’s are now established gallery artists.

One prime example is Eric Elms, he was very into that whole scene in the 90’s. Started off as just a graf writer and now we have seen his amazing art on skate brands such as Supreme.

Why have you decided to produce and sell decks in only 20 units?

We started this as an idea to merge art and skating, but didn’t want this to be something that was completely exposed to the masses. We are a tight niche community and we really want people to know they are getting something unique and hand made. As we grow though we hope to raise quantities, but they will always be hand numbered

$40 for a sweet original designed limited edition deck is a pretty sweet deal, How come you decided to make them so cheap?

It was basically for a few reasons, most importantly we didn’t want price to be a reason people couldn’t experience our brand or for people to be hesitant about ordering from us. Being a direct to consumer company as well, we wanted to take advantage of our margins and give it back to the consumer.

What are the plans for the future of Popdeck.com?

Right now we are just making our site and community better and better. We will constantly mold and improve the site. Also, expect a ton more special contest with great prizes and what not. We are also launching a gallery section, let people show off their pics and videos for prizes.

In order to form a more perfect kiss, enable the mighty hug to promote
to whom we please but one kiss.

       2. Kiss on the cheek... I just want to be friends
       3. Kiss on the neck... I want you
       4. Kiss on the lips... I love you
       5. Kiss on the ears... I am just playing (i hate that)
       6. Kiss anywhere else ... lets not get carried away
       7. Look in your eyes ... kiss me
       8. Playing with your hair... I can't live without you
       9. Hand on your waist... I love you to much to let you go

Article 2: The Three Steps

1. Girls: If any guys gets fresh with you, slap him
       2. Guys: If any girl slaps you, her intentions are still good
! ;! ; ! !      3. Guy and Girls: Close your eyes when kissing, it is rude to stare

Article 3: The Commandments

1. Thou shall not squeeze to hard.
       2. Thou shall not ask for a kiss, just give one or take one.
       3. Thou shall kiss at every opportunity.

Article 4: How to French Kiss
            Here's How:
  1. Set the scene. Make sure that the mood and time are right.
  2. Relax! Take a deep breath and let go of any tension in your neck and shoulders.
  3. Put your arms around the person you want to kiss.
  4. Start off with a normal kiss, not too firm, not too aggressive. Closing your eyes is optional.
  5. In mid kiss, gently open your mouth and softly nudge the other persons mouth open using your tongue.
  6. Again, not too aggressively, move your tongue inside the other persons mouth and playfully touch their tounge.
  7. Read the other persons body language, if they seem tense or start to pull away, stop what you are doing.
  8. If they open their mouth more or otherwise indicate they like the kiss, keep on doing what you have been only with a little more passion.
  9. As the kissing gets going saliva build up can be a problem, don't forget to swallow.
  10. Make sure you keep your tongues relaxed but your lips tight (saliva again), you don't want the kiss to turn messy.

Tips:
  1. Don't forget to breathe.
  2. Since French Kissing is "wetter" than other kinds of kissing it is a good idea to start with dry lips, don't lick them first.
  3. If one of you have braces you can still French Kiss, you just have to be more careful and not as forceful when things get passionate.
  4. If both of you wear braces you can still French Kiss, you just have to be very gentle and avoid touching teeth.
  5. French Kissing takes practice, but at least it is fun to practice this one!

       **Remember**

A peach is a peach
       A plum is a plum,
A kiss isn't a kiss without some tongue
       so open up your mouth,
       close your eyes,
and give your tongue some exercise!!!

WELL here's a few reasons why guys like girls...

1. They will always smell good even if its just shampoo
       2. The way their heads always find the right spot on our shoulder
       3. How cute they look when they sleep
       4. the ease in which they fit into our arms
       5. the way they kiss you and all of a sudden everything is right in the world
       6. How cute they are when they eat
       7. The way they take hours to get dressed but in the end makes it all worth while
       8. because they are always warm even when its minus 30 out side
       9. the way they look good no matter what they wear
       10. the way they fish for compliments even though you both know that you think she's the most beautiful thing on this earth
       11. How cute they are when they argue
       12. the way her hand always finds yours
       13. the way they smile
       14. the way you feel when you see their name on the call ID after you just had a big fight
       15. The way she says "lets not fight anymore" even though you know that an hour later you will be arguing about something
       16. the way they kiss when you do something nice for them
       17. The way they kiss you when you say "I love you'
       18. Actually ... ! ! ju! ! st the way they kiss you...
       19. the way they fall into your arms when they cry
       20. then the way they apologize for crying over something that silly
       21. The way they hit you and expect it to hurt
       22. Then the way they apologize when it does hurt . (even though we don't admit it)!
       23. the way they say "I miss you"
       24. the way you miss them
       25. the way their tears make you want to change the world so that it doesn't hurt her anymore.....Yet regardless if you love them, hate them, wish they would die or know that you would die without them ... it matters not.   Because once in your life, whatever they were to the world they become everything to you. When you look them in the eyes, traveling to the depths of their souls and you say a million things without trace of a sound, you know that your own life is inevitable consumed within the rhythmic beatings of her very heart.  We love them for a million reasons, No paper would do it justice. It is a thing not of the mind but of theheart.
