WSA_: “Lets Talk About Feelings” Art Show/ Ipath shoes WSA Fundraiser

On the last day of the WSSF Bind Mute Productions and Crispin Lipscomb put together an art show in Function Junction. Blind Mute took care of the artists and Crispin decided it would be a good idea to get a bunch of white Ipath shoes that could be painted and then were auctioned which raised a total of $725 for the Whistler Skateboard Association. The event had a good vibe and a whole lot of sweet art from over 50 different artists. Thanks goes out to Pepe and Randy at Blind Mute Productions, Crispin Lipscomb and all the artists for making the event possible and thinking of the Whistler Skateboard Association.

My Blog: MASA PRO STREET CONTEST 2007

Well i tried to bring home some money at the MASA Pro Street Contest June 15-17 2007.The park had a good set up.Little more light would of been better. Steel beams everywhere but still fun. Friday was a good day and warm-ups was a good sesh. Got some good tricks on film for Fuel Tv and Split Mag. Took home $25 in the tricks for cash with a shove it Tail grab over the 6' laoding dock gap. Sat during warm ups before my heat I took a rail to the knee and it swelled up and I could hardlly walk.I still went out there and give it my all for my sponsors that help me.Thanks to Unity Skateboards-Scoff Skatelaces-Osiris Shoes-Esylum Clothing and Revolver Bearings. The times were good and the partys were rocking. Sucked taking my knee out right before my heat but I took 38th of 42. Better lucky next time i guess. Greg Lutzka took 1st, my boy Ronnie Creager took 2nd and Pete Eldridge grab 3rd. Either way nothing but good times. Dew tour is coming around the conner.We'll see how that gos.Well you guys take it easy and keep ripping

I'm the kinda girl who doesn't know herself. I'm strange, crazy, and weird. I can be really hyper (like annoying, crazy hyper) or super chill and relaxed. I love partying and cruising around town with my girls singing at the top of our lungs. I also enjoy cuddling on a couch with a blanket, popcorn, a good movie, and a boy who can make me laugh. I'm not into drugs! I hang with people who are tho... they are all pretty coolio so I let it go. I'm a Sweetheart who can be a bitch if you rub me the wrong way or hurt someone that I care about. I Strongly dislike cheaters, liars, fakes, and People that screw with your head... yeah both guys and girls can do it... believe me I know. Its hard for me to say "I love You." Even when I really do mean it! It just seems over used and meaningless now adays... and that makes me kinda sad... I love to laugh, "giggle", and talk. Mostly to KelsO cause she's like my Bestest friend Ever! haha...Drew says I talk to much and others say I talk like a prep with my "omg", "like", and lingo like that, but its how we talk in Cali so get used to it. I'm a hardworker with a passive-aggressiveness towards work. I'm slightly Brain-damaged but SHHH.... Kris (Alice) gets mad when I say it. I think I'm a pretty good person at times and I have a pretty good self-esteem... well me being a girl I have my bad days... haha. I like contemplating life and random shi*t like that. Me and Jedd (with 2 d's) decided that the human brain is too small to comprehend the meaning of life and know why we were put here. Randy calls me Beautiful cause supposedly I am. Yet I'm one of the 24% of the women on this planet that thinks she's "Average". I'm hard to read sometimes and when I'm nervous I get super-de-duper shy! So if I'm really quiet OR really, really Loud and crazy then... yea... I might like you... but I'm kinda strange like that. I'm really sensitive but refuse to let people see me cry. I can be a complete dumbass at times... to the point of special-ed (which I joke around about... if you know me... you know what I mean.) BUT I can be really smart if you talk about something I know. I believe in Gay marriage, Different racial marriage, that whole speel. I'm pro-choice but if I got pregnant I'd never kill my baby... even if I was raped! I'm against sexism, facism, and racism... even tho I make a lot of racial and sexist jokes. I know I'm a walking contridiction at times.. but that's what keeps life interesting I guess. If I say something that offends you DON"T take it personally. Just tell me that you don't like it and I'll stop. I'm VERY secretive, Even with KelsO...who I practicaly tell everything. I'm just one of those super paranoid and overly terrified chicks. I'm scared of looking or being put in a position where I am Vulnerable! Plus I'm not good with pain... its just not something that appeals to me. I'm kinda clingy and If your cool I'll try to hang out with you a lot. If you don't like it and need space tell me in a NICE way... like "Shelby, I need some space for a lil okay." I'll back off. BUT if I'm dating you and you say that... your NOT getting me back... breaks in a relationship DON'T work... at least not for me. oooo and I Strongly Dislike people who say promises are fake or promises are/ can be broken. I DON'T BREAK MY PROMISES!!! and if you break a promise to me... well just don't think I'll trust you for a while. Its easy to gain my trust... but once you lose it the first time your NEVER getting it back... unless you prove to me that I should trust you. I have Major trust issues! I don't trust people to come through with their promises all the time... which again is hypocritical but Oh f*cking well. I don't usually trust people with my feelings and thoughts until I know them pretty well and even then I'm not completely trustworthy... lets just say I've grown up around dishonesty, deceite, and heartache. I'm bad with relationships cause I'm either overly clingy or really distant. I'm scared of pushing someone away so much that I do it just to save them from me!

My guitar heros are Dimebag Darrell and Randy Rhoads! Dimebag is from Pantera and Damageplan! Randy Rhoads is from Quiet Riot and Ozzy Osbourne! I started to like playing guitar when I seen Randy Rhoads playing the guitar solo to Crazy Train its really catchy and fun to play! And we was such a nice guy! He made the RRV Jackson guitar! Dimebag was an inspire to me when I started to listen to Pantera then Damageplan! I was wondering who was playing guitar! soooo I checked and I seen a video it was Dimebag! and he does amazing stuff on the Guitar! They are my Guitar Heros! Because they make guitar worth the willing to play it! My Guitar Heros!

My Blog: CALM down

the weekend's SUPPOSEDLY for downtime, then we all end up running around exhausting ourselves more than weekday life! I ended up watching Silent Hill on Friday, worked Saturday, then went to this Aboriginal Art & talent show in Spruce Grove. I didn't know what to expect, but it was phenomenal! I learned how to breakdance a few weeks ago & there was this guy dancing on his own with hulahoops. I'm like, wow, he's good. Turns out, at the show, we found out he's the world champion! What the monkey, I'm so oblivious to what's out there. They had this singer who opened up for Ms. Universe, Jared Sowan, & they had this artistic dance girl from Stanford. It was world class, by far the best talent show I've been to. how do you contain overwhelming excitement & try to remain calm & composed? How do you NOT yell when you're seriously video taping something? SO, we ended up filming our reserved seating signs because that'll never happen again. All I remember on the car ride home, "CALM down, pinch me...i'm only human, YOU'RE IN LOVE!!!" Yes, we're lame until we die.

Last weekend, man, I don't even really remember. K, Thursday, watched Fun With Dick & Jane - LOVE the kiss scene, Friday, hit fashion show @ Planet V, played MJ - we were biannually due, Saturday hit Caliente's for MC bboy/bgirl battle, met Randy, Rick, Alyssa, Kristin, & Laura, hit Denny's until about 4-5am?! AHHhh, highlights of the night, "What do a Texan divorce & a hurricane have in common?" & "a gunt? Some guy's have that". Damn, these chicks are funny. Not as sore bgirlin', STILL suck, but I remembered to stretch this time. Next weekend planning to attend ate's grad, bgirl class, LUSH party

These last few days have been so crazy. Dress rehearsal. Opening night. Friday night performance. Dang. And Brady makes a damn hawtt cowboy.

So...coffee last night. Randy squirted me with creamy white stuff all over. I'm talking about coffee creamer, you sick minded freaks.

I still get jealous of Sean and Chelsea, or Brady and Jazzie..but not as much as I used to. Still, there's that feeling. Its always there. Like...being single isnt horrible. But I want someone there to hold me and kiss me and tell me I'm theirs. Someone there to love me and cherish me, someone who would give me the moon if he could. Someone who would save me from my lonliness.

Jeremiah was a bullfrog. But whats that matter to anyone? You can't understand him, and what frog actually DOES drink wine?

Mmm. Cookiedough Ice Cream.

Why can't I just forget about it? The more its on my mind, the more I wanna do something about it. But whats there to do? Not a thing in the world that wont lead to things changing. And I know they say change is good...but what if they're wrong?

Sometimes I wonder why I even try to convince myself its all ok. It usually isnt. But lying to myself is better than facing the pain.

Ever get that feeling...where there's a hole. And you try and try to fill that hole, but nothing works. So you keep on trying until you just give up. And once you give up, once you have nothing left..you find what will fill that hole. Its like..all that time you spent trying to fill it with useless things, when the one thing you truly need is right in fron of yout face...Jesus.
