Will you give this to my Daddy?

As a Company, Southwest Airlines is going to support 'Red Fridays.'

Last week I was in , attending a conference. While I
was in the airport, returning home, I heard several people behind me
beginning to clap and cheer I immediately turned around and witnessed
one of the greatest acts of patriotism I have ever seen.

Moving thru the terminal was a group of soldiers in their camos. As they
began heading to their gate, everyone (well alm ost everyone)was abruptly
to their feet with their hands waving and cheering.

When I saw the soldiers, probably 30-40 of them, being applauded and
cheered for, it hit me. I'm not alone. I'm not the only red-blooded
American who still loves this country and supports our troops and their
families.

Of course I immediately stopped and began clapping for these young
unsung heroes who are putting their lives on the line everyday for us so
we can go to school, work and home without fear or reprisal.

Just when I thought I could not be m ore proud of my country or of our
service men and women, a young girl, not more than 6 or 7 years old ran
up to one of the male soldiers. He kneeled down and said 'hi.'

The little girl then asked him if he would give something to her daddy
for her.

The young soldier, who didn't look any older than maybe 22 himself,
said he would try and what did she want to give to her daddy. Then
suddenly the little girl grabbed the neck of this soldier, gave him the
biggest hug she could muster and then kissed him on the cheek.

The mother of t he little girl, who said her daughter's name was
Courtney, told the young soldi er that her husband was a Marine and had
been in Iraq for 11 months now. As the mom was explaining how much her
daughter Courtney missed her father, the young soldier began to tear up.

When this temporarily single mom was done explaining her situation, all
of the soldiers huddled together for a brief second. Then one of the
other servicemen pulled out a military-looking walkie-talkie. They
started playing with the device and talking back and forth on it.

After about 10-15 seconds of this, the young soldier walked back over to
Courtney, bent down and said this to her, 'I spoke to your daddy and he
told me to give this to you.' He then hugged this little girl that he
had just met and gave her a kiss on the cheek. He finished by saying
'your daddy told me to tell you that he loves you more than anything and
he is coming home very soon.'

The mom at this point was crying almost uncontrollably and as the young
soldier stood to his feet, he saluted Courtney and her mom. I was
standing no more than 6 feet away from this entire event

As the soldiers began to leave, heading towards their gate, people
resumed their applause As I stood there applauding and looked around,
there were very few dry eyes, including my own. That young soldier in
one last act of selflessness, turned around and blew a kiss to Courtney
with a tear rolling down his cheek.

We need to remember everyday all of our soldiers and their families and
thank God for them and their sacrifices. At the end of the day, it's
good to be an American.

RED FRIDAYS ----- Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing
Red every Friday. The reason? Americans who support our troops used to
be called the 'silent majority'. We are no longer silent, and are
voicing our love for God, country and home in record b reaking numbers.

We are not organized, boisterous or over-bearing.. We get no liberal
media coverage on TV, to reflect our message or our opinions. Many
Americans, like you, me and all our friends, simply want to recognize
that the vast majority of supports our troops.

Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity
and respect starts this Friday -and continues each and every Friday
until the troops all come home, sending a deafening message that.. Every
red-blooded American who supports our men and women afar will wear
something red.

By word of mouth, press, TV -- let's make the on every
Friday a sea of red much like a homecoming football game in the
bleachers.

If every one of us who loves this country will share this with
acquaintances, co-workers, friends, and family. It will not be long before the is covered in RED and it will let our troops know the
once 'silent' majority is on their side more than ever; certainly more
than the media lets on.

The first thing a soldier says when asked 'What can we do to make
things better for you?' is...We need your support and your prayers.

Let's get the word out and lead with class and dignity, by example; and
wear something red every Friday.

Scoff’s contest ended the 6th of April and we didn’t get enough videos that made the cut for what we were looking for to test the new laces. We had 4 winners!

Well i'm thinkin red today...

Well too much happening these days i'm back in school and i'm also starting að firm called Iceland Extreme wich will be hosting only extreme sports like i'm starting a snowboard and skii course then it will be mini skii and snowboard festival on a glaciar here called Snaefellsjokull but date's are not set yet and then it will be power kite course on skii's or snowboards and then it will be Icelandic offroad Rally wich got minimum standard's of a 38" tires under a truck and will go over atleast 2 glaciar´s so i'm pretty booked up these days on meetings etc etc and i got a guy workin on a website for the firm but i'll let you know when it is ready. But to other things Whistler 2007 i think i might just be going but i'll have to pay this year but 2008 i´m plannig on letting Iceland Extreme pay cuz i'll be promoting Iceland and Iceland Extreme etc etc. but yeah i still have to find some hotel or place to crash at Whistler 2007 and i guess il go with BA to canada they are the cheapest one and my friend told me i'd get free beer with BA but i'm not sure tough.....

Atleast there will be snowboarding beer good food and fun in that trip i'm sure of that but yeah back to work catch ya'll later

My Blog: Icelandic no summer

Now there is no and i mean no summer here just rain and more rain. I vent camping 1st weekend in july it was fun but mostly wet!!! but it was all good but expensive for me 1 dead shock and all electric vent south and i thought i where sober to drive home but when i got home i found out i was'n sober when where driving home cuz i got the worst hangover when i parked the truck hehe my bad anyhow it was a great wekeend and i posted a few pics not much to look at but helped me to remember the wekeend

but do not drink and drive my friend took my keys to the car and even to my house when i got there on friday afternoon and i did'n get them back untill i woke up on sunday afternoon but on sunday afternoon i tought i was sober and got the keys

Anyhow i'm gonna call it a day and sign off

well today i got some new equipment put on layaway. i put 100 bones down on an M3 Axis 155, new DC Boots, and ride bindings (black camo). i forgot the models for the boots and bindings. but theyre f*cking sick. so im super stoked on that. i dont care if im broke from it. oh well. so, i guess ill see ya in the park in a few months. peace. My Blog: nothing much to report from iceland

we there´s nothing much to say really it´s just the usual work and shi*t but yea i´m hosting a glaciar tour on 30 truck´s for 50 kids who are long time sick and have a rear but serius sickness so i´ve been workin on that the last few weeks getting sponsers for the BBQ and all that so it´s alot goin on but someho nothing to talk about so i´m going to cut this here and call it a day

well it is the biggest dry season here in iceland i´ve ever seen there is absoloutly(sp) no snow what so ever atleast not here in south west and south iceland but i heard there was something up north but i´m not sure have to check that out but outside of the dry season there is not relly much to tell most time now goes in work work in the car or in any of my friends cars (or shoult i say trucks) drink beer and travel alot and yeah i promise i will create a snowboard gallery in my pictures as soon as there will be any snow!!!!!!!

well i guess it´s time i try out the blog system here. well not wery much too say well yeah finally went core, bought a new truck so i got a few cars at the moment and yeah world meet is coming up soon but i´m not sure if i´ll go becouse i´m going to the states in the spring to find a car (not any car a classic corvette for my dad) but yeah i´m also thinkin about just jumping to a plane and hit the world meet but don´t got much of friend´s here that got the cash to go so it´s all just still in process and i´ll figure it out soon but i think i´ll say that this is a good start for the blog thingy so over and out

Have I ever told you..your like a shot! Your like the safety skin upon my bones. Every touch quivers me with static and shock, but at the same time you make me sour and lifeless!

To feel what i feel doesnt amount to your soul. You dont feel what I feel and it scares ME! To lose you towards the demons of heartache is like a boulder crushing my every segment.

I LOVE, I f*ck AND AT THE SAME TIME I STILL HURT!!

You are what I wished for but life has its regrets.

I should have told you this before..Better ways and Better times are Bitter memories. Ive tried to mend but its all over now..or at least i felt. Camouflage your heart in sweat and vaseline, no one will take you there, its all done.

Love seems like a mess when it wont let go of you. Your wasting your time on desire and expectation that leads to nothing! Its not for you, Its not for him, its not your time. Hand it over.. your pretending to be happy.
