On Saturday September 30th the Pemberton Skateboard Society will be holding a Fundraiser. There will be a street and mini ramp contest that costs $5 to enter. For musical entertainment; Whistler Based Forever Ends, Vancouver's Mouth Full of Daisy, DJ Rich and a possible third band is scheduled to perform. There is a $5 donation fee for spectators that will go towards the Pemberton Skatepark. Volonteers can contact Debbie Christianson at the Step Up Skate and Snowboard Shop. or @ 604.935.9147

The Coolest Rock Band From lowestoft!!!

.::CHRIS::. - Vocals/lead Guitarist

Chris compensates for his tiny size by making a lot of noise. Lively, loud and confident, his image is important to him although he claims he doesn't care about how he looks. Musically he's into punk rock bands like Green Day. He's been playing the guitar for about four months but hasn't had any lessons.


.::SAMANIE::. - Rhythm Guitarist  

Samanie is a cool punk guitarist who plays in a fledgling local band, but she lacks confidence and will need to toughen up if she's going to be lead guitarist in the band. Samanie thinks music is a great emotional escape and she'd be lost without it.



.::LAUREN::. - Other Drummer

Lauren hangs out with the Emo crowd at school and doesn't like people who are into hip hop or R&B. She has been playing the drums for a year and dreams of having a career in music. Lauren thinks she has more to prove because drums are typically a boys' instrument but she's up to the challenge!




.::ELLIE::. - Singer

She used to sing as part of a group and has a fantastic voice but she had to give it up because of a lack of confidence. Ellie says she'd have a very difficult time singing on her own to an audience and the thought of it makes her shake. She's far happier at home hidden away with her karaoke machine.



.::JESS::. - Keyboard

Jess is a Christian and she thinks all Christians are thought of as being weird. She listens to punk music but thinks there must be more to than just sex and drugs to the whole rock 'n' roll thing.



.::LILY::. - Other Keyboard Player

Lily likes to take care of her appearance and most other girls think she's stuck up. A talented piano player, she has a huge confidence problem and wants to take on the challenge to prove to herself and others that she is capable of accomplishing something.


.::ROB::. - Manager

Rob is the ultimate cheeky chappy. The ex-Londoner can talk to anyone and is constantly telling the teachers how things should be done. Rob doesn't play any musical instruments but thinks that making money is far more important that musical integrity!



.::SAMMY::. - Drummer

Sammy is trying to turn over a new leaf after being excluded last term for disrupting lessons. Although he isn't a big rock fan, Sammy's a keen drummer and plays drums to vent his anger. He's very confident and has something to say about everything.



.::CRAIG::. - Co-Manager

Outside of school Craig doesn't have any real friends and spends all his time on the computer. He doesn't worry about girls and wonders why kids his age spend all their time worrying about relationships when they're never going to last anyway. He doesn't have his own music collection and relies on people at school playing him new stuff.


.::JEDDA::. - Ex Manager

recently transferred to Kirkley High after being excluded from his old school over clashes with other students. He thinks it's difficult being 15 and that "they're all messed up because of peer pressure, life and everything". A self-confessed socialist, Jedda doesn't like the class
system and thinks America should stop trying to control the world.


.::LEWIS::.- Co-Manager

Lewis is a mischievous smooth talker who uses his charm to get what he wants. His ambition is to have ?1million by the time he's 20, and ?5million with a huge mansion in the US by the time he's 25! He's more into sport than music and would put himself into the rugby crew if he had to give himself a label.



.::LINDSEY::. - Base Guitarist

Lindsey's a rebellious tomboy who spends much of her time drinking cider. Sociable and confident, she can hold her own in a group of boys and isn't afraid to voice her opinions. Lindsey is a big fan of goth rock and the best moment of her life was seeing the band HIM.

This was a one off now the girls have created their own band and recording their own music and little Chris has a recording contract.

Alright, I have to put it all down on the line:

God Gave YOU a choice.
I Can’t make it for you.
Us Christians aren't trying to get you to obey God cause "you have to". We are Just sharing the absoulute truth.

The ONLY way You will EVER Find out the Truth is if you truly WANT To find it.
God is there but we have to Want to find Him to actually find Him. It's not normal for someone to just accidently fall into His Arms of Love. Its all By a deep down interest and Love for the truth.

If this is you, and if you truly have an intrest in God or have any questions at all, I will do my Best to respond with the truth. I do not know it all but I have Really grown in my PERSONAL Relationship with Christ and I am still getting to Know my best friend more and more.

Faith is the evidence of things Unseen. All the evidence Points To God. We need Faith. We Don't need to see the wind To believe its real, we see the effects. If you truly look, you WILL find! Thats a Promise!
