DRAPER SKATE CONTEST RESULTS


Technique would like to thank all of you for coming out to the first Annual Draper Skate
Contest, hosted by Technique. Below are the results for all three divisions. Skater’s were
judged on difficulty, style, use of all skate park obstacles and consistency. Skate’s were
scored by four judges, the score was then determined on a over all average.

Okies now for a new post.... Well my friends and I planned to go bowling about a week ago,and then we were discussing what time we were going to go on thursday and friday. Then my friend megan came over on the bus after school on friday,and i was searching for nikkie and he was nowhere until our bus driver started to drive away he was in the second seat to the back he made me so mad,and so did the people in the back of the bus who take up one seat for themselves,so after we got to my subdivision we put our stuff in our moms car (my mom),and then we went for a walk around the subdivision for awhile like we always do,and I was making odd noises and she told me to shh... about a million times because I wouldn't listen to her and after that we did the moonwalk halfway to our house (my house),and she said i couldn't moonwalk for crap but then we ended up getting to our front door and we went to the kitchen and got some cheezits,mountain dew,and granola bars those things are so good and i got bugles,and she thinks they are nasty and I wanted to throw them at her,but they would have made a bigger mess then the trix did and nikkie would have bailed on cleaning the mess up again with some excuse about his maid outfit being eaten by his cat,or something like that, so then we were dancing to music on launchcast.com  like we always do,because launchcast has awesome music like laffy taffy,and grillz nobody saw that coming now did they and yes we can dance and we were talking about dressing up like gangsters next year at school for awhile,because people don't think her and i would get away with that but we could because we are just that awesome and after we had all that fun she went home,and then yesterday i woke up at 11:47,and i waited all day to talk to megan,because she was asleep,and then she finally answered the phone after a few hours,and then she said that we weren't going bowling at three,because her dad had something to do like save the world or something like that,and then he had to get miranda so bowling was postponed until 6:00,and then megan and miranda still weren't there so i just hung out with brittani, abby,heather,logan,and brandon until we went bowling awhile before megan and miranda got there i only bowled the first time it was my turn and i got two gutterballs after that i went to the
gameroom, because i saw nikkie,timmy,and billy walk past the table that brittani,abby,heather,logan, and brandon were sitting at with me without saying hi to me,and i knew they were in the gameroom and then i realised they were playing air hockey,because you can see the air hockey table before you even walk in the game room so i was watching them play instead of bowling because they were goofing off the whole time,and then after they were done playing air hockey they went to dollar island and i went with them and nikkie,and timmy got bow and arrows while billy was outside,and then after that they went to attack him with the bow and arrows,and billy took nikkie's arrows and stuck them to a window,and then nikkie went and got them while we were walking back to the bowling alley,and he tried to stick one of the arrows to a sign with red letters that went across them,and it didn't stick,then while we were walking even more timmy kept hitting me in the butt with the arrows,because he said he was cupid and billy said he was a bad cupid,so he hit billy with the arrow,and then billy threw an arrow at timmy and he said that he didn't think it would hurt that but it was horrible,and then my dads (megan's dad and my dad) got mad at me and them,and then they drove me back upto the bowling alley and i started talking to them again even though i wasn't supposed to because i am 1 to 2 years younger then them and,they are in the high school,and im not yet but we were talking the whole time anyway and,then they started to bowl and i watched them and then brittani came over and asked why I wasn't in the gameroom with her,and everyone else and i told her i didn't know,and she said okay and walked away,and awhile later timmy was bowling like a little kid he rolled the bowling ball down the lane and then he kicked it and got a spare which was a bit odd but it was pretty awesome and then later megan asked me if i had any quarters which i didn't and she asked me if nikkie,timmy,or billy did and i said i wasn't sure,and then she asked nikkie if he had any,and he did ad he asked her how many she wanted,and she just said thank you,and he said how many again and she said she didn't care and then a bit later nikkie,timmy, and billy finished their game,and they said they were going outside,and i couldn't follow them,and that's why i got in trouble in the first place,and i told them i didn't want yo anyway,and nikkie said whatever,and then a little while later i was sitting with everyone in the lobby just talking and such while everyone was walking in and out of the doors,so after that i was a bit cold,so i went inside the bowling alley again,and i was talking to nikkie,timmy,and billy and then my dad said i had to go home soon,and i told him i didn't feel like it yes my dad was there shutup it wasn't cool and everyone thought it was weird,but at least my mom wasn't there,and then i left along with mostly everyone else and i said bye to billy,and timmy,and i told them to tell nikkie i said bye,and they said okay,and then i got home and went to sleep,and then i woke up today and started to write this and now i am done and have nothing left to write so later...

first off the departure gate at the Vancouver airport was competely boxed in which I've never seen before.  Made me feel like I was in a holding cell.  I felt better after running into Dixen, Keenan, Jared, Don and Jen.  Vegas itself was out of control.  Right after the plane ride we jumped into a huge limo to the hotel.  Huge dinner and off to gamble and drink.  I was amazed how we could buy jumbo beers and drink it outside, in the hotel, in cabs, walk in and out of stores.. didn't matter.  It was crazy.  Hard Rock was the place to party.  Fun times.  SIA was huge, I would get lost in that place trying to find stuff.  POW Gloves are coming out with the most amazing gloves ever... all white with two pink figures and one brown.  Can you guess the name of it?  The Shocker!  I thought that was rad.  Also I was super impressed with Arbor.  Bamboo shirts and boards.  If you haven't seen the stuff they make, I really recommend you check it out.

I was super stoked on how the main vibe was everyone happy.  Nelson from Westbeach gave me a little insight about a sweet new product coming out.  A press release will be launched monday next week.  O'gio was rad.  Shapiro came second at the rail jam infront of thousands of industry people.  Congrats on that.  Logan Short came 8th... go team Canada.  and Trav made sure I was right drunk most of the time and stumbled apon the best burger in the world.

All I can say in that Vegas is crazy.  The locals seem burnt out, cab drivers talk about crazy things... no laws apply in Sin City.  People throw away money like it was dirty underwear.  Everything was so huge and impressive.  Looking forward to Vegas 2007.
