So its beena a while since the last update and the film is making more progress now. The last ramp that you saw our friend Rob attempt to jump off of has been reduced to a 6ft launch ramp now and new blueprints have been planned out of the runways and rollins. October 5 and 6th will be the date we start building the 8ft launch ramp and the landing banks for it. Soon after that the invites will go out and pros will be here to rip these to minis apart!

In the meantime though heres a little behind the scenes look at the first day of test runs of the Scoff Project. WHos knows you might even be able to see Rob crash this time....

Well i tried to bring home some money at the MASA Pro Street Contest June 15-17 2007.The park had a good set up.Little more light would of been better. Steel beams everywhere but still fun. Friday was a good day and warm-ups was a good sesh. Got some good tricks on film for Fuel Tv and Split Mag. Took home $25 in the tricks for cash with a shove it Tail grab over the 6' laoding dock gap. Sat during warm ups before my heat I took a rail to the knee and it swelled up and I could hardlly walk.I still went out there and give it my all for my sponsors that help me.Thanks to Unity Skateboards-Scoff Skatelaces-Osiris Shoes-Esylum Clothing and Revolver Bearings. The times were good and the partys were rocking. Sucked taking my knee out right before my heat but I took 38th of 42. Better lucky next time i guess. Greg Lutzka took 1st, my boy Ronnie Creager took 2nd and Pete Eldridge grab 3rd. Either way nothing but good times. Dew tour is coming around the conner. We'll see how that gos.Well you guys take it easy and keep ripping

This trailer is from the first day of test runs or run I should say. We weren't sure if the tranny was quite right and we needed to find the gap so our buddy rob was going to launch from it to flatground! Check it out!

Scoff is dedicated to the progression of the products that aren’t being currently addressed. Like shoelaces our first product to you. The Scoff Skatelaces have been tested and skated and shown that they last on average twice as long compared to the industry laces, reduce fraying, and in some cases even keep you shoes tight after they break! This is the only product out there of its kind, there is no other!

In the near future we hope to soon progress even farther and push out products that enhance you’re skating skills. We make a promise to all of our friends, customers, skate buddies, and whoever is down for Scoff. That we will NEVER, come out with any regular cookie cutter products. Everything that comes from us will be 100% original, practical, and straight to you. We are dedicated to the progression of skateboarding and promise to never let you down. Its simple, we are pushing skateboarding as far as it pushes us!

The party got started a little late and for those of you who didn't know.  We were planning on renting out the whole outskirt side of the skatepark and throw our party there. But soon to our dismay, the city told us just 1 week before that we couldn't unless we provided $1000000 proof of liabilty insurance for the event! Come to find out it would cost us average $600 us dollars to do that!

So we went around it. The party had been put off long enough, we weren't going to cancel it. So we held it in the parking lot out of the back of a trunk! haha It was the most ghetto thing we have ever done. With an unbrella sticking out of our trunk giving away free swag and cranking music all day! It wasn't so bad.

We had over 150 skaters show up over the day. Celebrating the new release of the Scoff website, skating, and slapping stickers all over their boards. We were giving away free swag ever hour also! Inlcuding magazines, stickers, shades, gatorade (it was 86 degrees outside), water, key chains, shirts, skatelaces and more!!

Scoffman and one of the party goers

We had kids doing all sorts of things like sticker slap the ice cream truck without getting caught!

Then some kids who weren't so sly tryed to slap to many on and got caught by the ice cream man. Not good. After a few hours of handing out all that free swag and chilling with our local scene, we brought out the tv and played videos for a few hrs. It was like kindergarden all over again. All the kids instanly sat down in rows before the telavision in silence as we played all sorts of skate dvds.

Near the end we had an un announced competition. A progressive trick contest off the 8 stair. We had 4 entries. The game goes like this, each person gets 10 tries. You have to do the tricks on the list, after you complete one within the 10 tries you step up and go to a more difficult trick. Here was the list Ollie, 180 (either way), kickflip, heelflip. Matt one of the competing skaters injured his ankle doing the 180 and called out. Andy got stuck on trying to land the 180, he almost got it but his rotations were full. Christian and a kid nicknamede Momo, made it past and both got stuck on the heelflip.
So we changed it up and set up a new list, Treflip and if you got that then you had your pick of either doing a switch kick or a manual to ollie over the stairs. Christian landed the treflip on his 3rd try, Momo got stuck and could get it under his feet. So Christian won!

At the end of the day, everyone was tired and ready to hit the hay. We had a blast and know the people that came did also. If you haven't already make sure to check out the new Scoff website at www.scoffskateboarding.com Its new its fresh, it will keep you up to beat on Scoff Skatebaording and everything about us.

Thanks to the kid with the camrea who took all the photos. We appreciate it!
At the end of the day
