My Blog: skate board coverings

I am currently enquiring about structures which could temporarily cover a skate park. The structure would need to be removable, as it will only be used for four months of the year. It would also need to be waterproof.

The structure would need to cover an area of 13.5x18metres.

Does anyone know of any companies, which could provide a suitable structure?? Or any skateparks which have something similar??

I would really appreciate your help.

My Blog: YMCA HQ's Summer Skate Series

The YMCA HQ with the support of local councils and the Department of Sport and Recreation are hosting the Summer Skate Series at Skate Parks across Western Australia over the 2009/2010 Summer. Winners of qualifying rounds are eligble to compete at the finals at YMCA HQ on Saturday 13th Feb 2010. This championship event acts as a qualifier to the finals of Skateboarding Australia's Dew Series (Sydney 2010).

Qualifying rounds in WA are scheduled for:

Sat 28th Nov - Kwinana Skate Park

Sat 5th Dec - Bassendean Skate Park

Sat 12th Dec - Bunbury Skate Park*

Sat 19th Dec - YMCA HQ Skate Park

Sat 9th Jan - Victoria Park Skate Park

Sat 16th Jan - Geraldton Skate Park

Sat 23rd Jan - Maddington Skate Park

Sat 30th Jan - Nedlands Skate Park

Age Divisions at all competitions will be; 15 & under (boys/girls), 18 & under boys, 18 & under girls, and Open (incorporating 18 & under sponsored skaters).

Great prizes up for grabs! Free registration is at 12.00pm at the venue on the day of the competition (* Bunbury Registration 9.30am).

I haven't skated for a long time....thought i'd update....so it's june 24th and I think I didn't skate on go skateboarding day which it had to be almost 92 or feeling like it....actually I think that's the same day the tornadoes went wild....so I definitely didn't go....not sure when I will skate again these movies sure are making me wanna try it again idk yet though....my birthdays next monday....hmm 25 man!!!!!!!! already???? it's coming up fast..well i'm gonna end this so message me if you're my friend or not and you're on here i'm gonna leave this page up for a little while. bye!

I've just logged back into this site after about three years. So differnt now. Where is everyone?? There used to be some really awesome people on here. Mesh crew leave tomorrow from Black Pearl in the Caymans. They skate sick if you want to see them check out woodwward because most of them are heading that way. As for Blaqck Pearl Bucky gets here tomorrow seriously if you do not come to Black Pearl you do not know what you are missing. For your mom and dad the beaches the bars and sting ray city. For Mom only the best in jewlery and cosmetics tax free. As for you the best skate park the best skaters and the best yes the best competition. You have kids here off the charts in skating varial flips grinds which will blow your minds kick flips to kill. We have kids which will show you how it is to skate on concrete they takes hits like its nothing. Also these guys are out for fun not only do you get to skate you get to surf if you dare on one of the biggest wave machines. You get to hang out with the kids they know how to have fun. Mesh Crew were at Black Pearl today ripping the place, they are filming and taking pics for transworld. Check out these guys on you tube you will not be dissapointed. you need to check out Skate Cayman which is at the Black Pearl Skate Park.

The event is a skate camp organized by Cayman Islands Tourism.

On Friday Shaun White was there skating weith the kids. Believe me if you have not met him, he is the nicest of people he did an briliant job openeing the camp.

The Camp is for you anybody who is under 18 years come with your parents you fly for free yes free you get fed for free and you stay for free eh yes free.

Your parents come down and sign you up for the camp over summer thats the caqtch. The camp is reasonable. What is in it for you well Greg Lutzka, Rune Glifburg, Chris Cole, Josh Harmony, Eric Costan, Darren naveret, Fuel, Thrasher, Brian Sumner, Nesh Crew, Shut Team, Lance Mountain, and MANY, MANY ,MORE!!!!!!

Beleive me you do not want to miss this summer. Also You get to skate with Black Pearl Skate Team. Dr. Sean, Downey, Brian, Neuvell, Darren, Harry and other great skaters from Black Pearl THINK YOUR GOOD (LOL). Believe me you do not want to miss this.

Tomorrow is a skate jam at the beach Shaun White will be their and the mesh team with Black Pearl Skate Team

I want to get a new skateboard deck, but I don't know what kind. Can somebody help me chose a deck brand and model? My Darkstar deck has been taking a beating, but I've only had it for two months. On Saturday, me and my friend were at the Kihei skatepark and there were 3 other kids there. I told them to stack up 4 boards and put the stak on top of the volcano ramp. i was going to drop the 6, early grab air over the boards, and then go up the roll in. The first try I bailed right before I landed. The second try I bailed because I went straight up and didn't get enough forward air, I would have landed on the boards if I didn't bail. The third try I made it, and I got it all on tape.

There are many different graphics and are also many of your favorite brands to choose from. Tech Decks can be used alsmost anywhere and they fit in your pocket.

My Blog: Psychiatry, Prescription drugs.

Hello,

I am Dane Manuel, I am a skater from Baton Rouge, La. I want to say something because I have found it to be terrifying in a lot of ways, so here it is:

There is a group of "medical doctors" called Psychiatrists. These "doctors" are currently on a campaign to drug all of our citizens with dangerous psychotropic drugs that are for "mental disorders". They are targeting young people for the fact that we are energetic and bright and these drugs dumb one down and make one feel more depressed than when one wasn't taking them before! So a quick fact for you, look at EVERY school shooting EVER and you will see that EVERY kid involved with these school shootings were on the said psychotropic drugs, interesting? I would like to talk about one particular "disorder" called A.D.D. You see this one "disorder" has brought more psychotropic drugs than one can count and is a big HOAX, in the DSM (diagnostics statistical manual), written and made by The APA (American Psychiatric Association), it is said that A.D.D is caused by a chemical imbalance ... Which there is NO scientific test for or proof of any kind!!! So then i ask you this question "what is the proper balance if there is an imbalance?" no one can tell YOU that ...

So, by the way, there is a "disorder" for everything one does in this DSM. Let me give you an example: If you fight with your brother of sister, you have "Sibling Rivalry Disorder" Who the hell doesn't fight with their siblings!?!? My second question is: how the hell will taking a pill/drug help you with your siblings? Here is something to think about: you can have trouble with math, then, per the DSM you have Mathematical Disorder [MMD] that YOU WILL NEED A PILL FOR???? Jesus flippin christ... need I say more?

P.S. Psychiatry is supposed to mean the "study of the soul" per it's definition, however, they believe a materialistic view and deny the existence of a soul and so are in conflict with themselves - and really - it's all about the money!!!
