THIS FRIDAY THE 13TH SPLIT CLOTHING INTRODUCES SOME EVIL TO THE TEAM  

Split Welcomes Duffel, Nuge, and Slash To The Team IRVINE, CA – April 13, 2007 – On a day dark as this, it’s only natural to mark the union of three new formidable skateboarders to the Split clothing team. Corey Duffel, Don “Nuge” Nguyen, and Brian “Slash” Hanson have joined Split. Corey Duffel is an unstoppable force of nature. After racking up a recent Slap cover, Thrasher interview, and his part in Cataclysmic Abyss, Corey brings his signature style to Split. A range of gear designed by Duffman is in the works and two Duffel tees are available NOW including is signature trash tee – an all-over print of Corey’s actual trash. Ask for it at your favorite skate shop. Nuge is coming in blazing after having the opening part in Foundation’s Cataclysmic Abyss. Don broke out of Oklahoma to famously ollie El Toro on his way to Hollywood where he’s been skating on the regular. The newest addition to the am team, Slash is making a name for himself lighting up spots and spliffs every time he gets the chance. Slash came up with Black Label and is currently filming for the Vox video.

one more moment

that's all it takes

one more moment

means no more pains

this time I think its working

but just to make sure

I grab the razor off the sink

and slash away some more.

cutting all over my body

running water into the tub

water spilling over

I clean up the mess

only out of habit

I climb into the tub

who cares if its hot or cold

it'll only be a moment more

some of the bleedings stopped

I rip at my flesh with my nails

cutting and tearing away

the water starts to turn a crimson red

my body is covered with cuts and burns

but the pain is in my heart

I slash the blade across my chest

to punish it for loving

so weak when it comes to emotions

I wash my hair and body

scrubbing away till what skins lefts red

the wounds reopen and bleed some more

my mom knocks at the door and tells me to get out

I yell back "It will only be a moment more!"

i'm finished darkness consumed me
my heart is a black broken heart
that bleeds with no desire
forming my red stainful tears
and a brand new scar everytime on my soul
life is a highway
sooner or later i will stop for gas
i will go through bumby raods
there are bridges i must cross
but this time i stopped right close to the edge
it's 6 feet under
i close my eyes
(whisper)i begin to fall

i feel the demons inside me
it's driving me insane
when i cry is like an acide rain
i feel its through my veins
pain on top of pain
tearing burns all over my face
in my head
fear and rage

(scream/roar)
out of the darkness here i am
trying to stand
my bleeding hands
face to face with pain again
and i scream save me once more

and it's dark again
keep looking over my back
i could feel him gasping
like he's ready to attack
i try to look away
in the shadows i camofloge
these mysteries i'm trying to solve

put me out cuz i'm a f*cking fire
i slashed my wrist i feel so cold

My Blog: GO SK8 DAY!

so my skate day started at 1am this morning with me and my homey jon shredding the streets of lindsay ontario, wreaking havok on manny pads, pop out ledges, natural asphalt booters and anything we could possibly get our stunt-wood onto! this, being the tipical night of our teenage years, was ridiculously fun and exciting bringing back dope memories of sessions past, and old tricks not even dreams can bring back under our feet. anyways after about 2 hours of slashing the streets we hit up seveleven for a caffeine boost and headed back out to some old spots. about mid way through a game of SKATE i blew a kingpin doing a trick on flat ground, im going to call it a nollie 540 roopflip to revertorii mcpickle, fakie out cause thats how we do here in onterrible. anyways this brought a quick end to our early morning session but not and end to a day dedicated to dopeness! i walked back to jonnys crib yellin out tricks for him to do the whole way, then we watched some skate vids and i headed home for some rest. after a snooze and some food and work i headed back into town to fix my kingpin only to find out that no where in town has venture kingpins and its gonna take 2 days to get any. so i tried to patch up my trucks for about 3 hours before getting super pissed and giving up. my homey kev from deuce bras made my day by hooking me up with new trucks and wheels but i still have to wait til friday for em. too bad so sad better luck on skate day next year....

Doomsday for the Deceiver

Play heed this take of the prince of darkness,
Whom we're taught to fear from day number one.
The beguiling serpent, king of the underworld,
Betrayer and mocker of heaven's chosen one.
Evil and wicked dreamer, creator of sins,
Ultimate deceiver; longing to take you in.
He promises earthly glory, if you play his game;
"I won't let the firebombs hurt you, just
Number your head and take my name."

Belial begins his scheming, treacherous plan,
Turns brother on brother, toys with the leaders of man.
He creates before them illusions of broken truce,
A wicked plot of deception, that commanders cannot refuse.
In a short time he has control,
USA, Russia, chaos from pole to pole.
Mankind's worst nightmare, it's too late to pray,
Hold tight and take your last breath,
The missiles are on their way...DOOMSDAY!

All over the earth the horror begins,

So here is my story again. For those who know me I am sorry but I need to let it out to the world!!
So on Monday night we got to see Velvet Revolver. (Don't even think about making fun, they rocked) Anyways, I was standing front and centre, completely crushed againest two huge guys and the baracade. The lighst are out and on walks Duff, about 1 foot away from me. Next comes my favorite person ever. Slash walks out, the lights come on and he smiles right at me. AHHHHH. They opened with Sucker Train Blues and it was killer.
Through half the concert I was determined to stay front and centre but eventually I couldn't breathe and was being beat too bad so I got pulled out and then stood with the security gaurd at the from right side when Duff came out and pointed and half waved at me. It was insane. Best night of my life.
Oh and they were filming for the dvd, so look for my squashed head in the front! yay.

If you haven't seen them live, GO NOW! They are veteran rock gods forsure. Even Scott Weiland was so amazing on stage. He has a great presence.

Okay everyone, I'll chat with you in September. I am gettin on that plane in like 10 hours. Wish me luck. xoxo
