Have
you heard of Gromfest? We’re a grassroots skate and snow competition that
takes all of the proceeds from our event and donates them to non-profits that
use board sports to benefit kids. Gromfest happens at Whistler in the
summer with the skate competitions happening at Squamish skate park and the
snow competitions happening on Camp of Champions terrain up on Blackcomb’s
glacier. This comp is all about the love of the sports…our competitors
are there because they love to ride and want to compete against kids from all
over North America.
If
you're interested in competing in Gromfest (whether on the skate or snow side
of things) and you’re a part of Snowboard.com or SkateboardVillage.com, we’ve
got the way to make it happen. Just put together a little video full of
footage of you killing it. Upload your snowboard vids here and your
skate vids below. If your tape has a mix of the two, then don’t worry, just
upload to whichever one you like. Also include an explanation of why you want
to be a part of Gromfest in the comments section of where you uploaded your
video, cause dang it we're not only looking for the best riders, but also those
who love the sports for all that they are.
