DC NATIONALS 2007 DATES ANNOUNCED

…National Championship moves to Eastern Canada, $10K cash purse, new website.

 DC Nationals has undergone a facelift for 2007 and is proud to reveal a $10K cash purse, new website, new dates, and new location for the finals. In its 5^th year, DC Nationals is set to sweep the nation in only 3 short months!

 The new website offers a fresh design and easier navigation. Online now at www.dcnationals.com

 Dates for local qualifiers have shifted forward to respect St Jean Baptiste day in Quebec, previously coinciding with local contest dates. Finals are confirmed to take place at South Parc, Brossard, QC. This is the first time the Nationals will be held in Eastern Canada.

 The biggest news being the cash purse has been increased to $10,000 at the National Championship.

2007 Contest Dates

LOCAL QUALIFIERS – JUNE 16^th and 17^th , 2007

REGIONAL QUALIFIERS – JULY 21^st and 22^nd , 2007

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP – AUGUST 25^th , 2007

Each summer, DC gives back to its roots of skateboarding by hosting the DC National Skateboard Championship. In the summer of 2006, 80 contests ran across Canada with over 2500 participants, all made possible by Canadian DC retailers.

The DC Nationals is a Non-Profit, Canada-Wide skateboard contest and the only event of its kind that gives Canadian amateur skaters a chance to showcase their talent on a national level.
