Hola.... tell us about Barcelona- skating there must be sick ;] i am from Bulgaria. Describe how's in Spain- do you have skateparks or more street (i suppose the latter)

i heard they were trying to pass some law that was going to put a damper on the barcelona skate scene.

It's soooooo sick lol. Except in big cities, in spain there are a few skateparks, because of that, people usually prefer street style, but nowadays lots of new skateprks are being built. In smaller cities is very dangerous to skate in the parks (if there are any) because they are very old, rusty and they are breaking to pieces... for example last year I broke a helmet aganist the ground because there was a hole below one of the ramps... ouch** But there are lots of stairs and lots of wide streets to skate till you break your brains out lol

barcelona is incredible for street skating, the spots are perfect its as if it was designed by skaters, now alot of people are aware of it, its coming to the attention of the devil, i mean the council will start putting up sk8 stoppers an stuff, but there are always new spots which can be found and i bet theres some which hav been missed out

I really think that putting a ban on skating in Barcelona was the most stupid thing on Earth. I used to see the spots in Barcelona all over the videos and magazines but now... I'm from Bulgaria and I think that skating is more than a sport but not all people get that idea. In my hometown there is no skatepark and street style is the only way out so if we want to skate we prepare for being kicked out of the spots. I think that people should change their thinking about skateboarding - it is not connected with drugs I say SKATE and FEEL THE REAL
