c'est le vie. i know that i listen to enough music to have a fairly decent opinion. and the whole thing IS my OPINION. and as it said in the original post, you may not agree. thats fine. i dont expect people to always agree with me.

Kids generally like bands based on the look, or style the band portrays. Hence why we have a bunch of asstarded fuckheads (meaning anyone between the ages of 13-17 generally) running around in way too tight pants, with the worst fucking haircut I've ever seen in my whole life.

because there is absolutely NO originality. if any of you say your favorite band is MCR, panic at the disco, or anything of the like, go shoot yourself right now. that IS NOT music. its some whiny asa people. if they ARE your favorite band, you seriously need to listen to better music. chiodos brothers are a good place to start. what i have most is how every single little poser girl who wears too much eye liner is like "oh my gosh, they're so amazing! i thing they're so hot!" no, they plain suck. those bands are the equivalent now of hair metal (butt rock or glam metal) were in the 80's. we need some band to save us from this just like how Guns 'n Roses saved the poppier metal in the late 80's. if you wanna listen to a pretty good band, listen to this: http://www.myspace.com/herestonothing  and if you dont agree with anything i've said, you obviously dont know what you're talking about when it comes to music. and dont try to argue. i've taken theory for 8 years. i've played guitar my whole life. i've played bass for 5 years. piano for 7 years, saxophone for 4, listened to every kind of rock from Buddy Holly and the Crickets to yngwie malmsteen to beatles to dragonforce. so i think i know what i'm talking about.

you think i just listen to one genre? i listen to just about anything. like bluegrass. jazz. funk. blues. country. rock. old school rap, pop, gospel, classical. i do appreciate all types of music. i am not an arrogant, narrow minded musician. i just personally do not appreciate what people are putting out. i cincerely believe they could put out soooo much better stuff if they didnt just try to appeal to one certain group of people.

oh man, thats so true you and ATN rock this place up.

 

btw you dont need to be a musican just to know good or bad music, so u played saxaphone, saxaphone is for pussys. and exactly another fact if ur not using saxaphone for folk music a school musical song etc or blues then what the hell are you using it for? last time i checked TNT motorhead or ACDC didnt have saxaphones in it.

 

 

so you played guitar, i can make the best song out of a drum set. and not all music is counting on "good or bad" or "i like this song, i dont like this one" sometimes you can turn on a song you've always known but never listened to and just sit down and listen. sometimes it just what you feel like in the moment. so dont tell us whats good or whats bad music just cuz u played the wussy-phone or guitar, cuz from what i've seen, and keep in mind this is what we all think, when it comes to music you arent one to argue!!!
