Elements are Notorious for Being easy to chip and easy to snap. Zeros are probably the best bet. But neither would be in my top 5

^what are your top 5 than whisky? for me, i like the graphics on element better, except for those blasted BAM decks. you know the ones, the ones with BAM written across theo whole thing. i like the "Protect Freedom" decks though and the environmentally thoughtful ones... as for performance, i hear Zero is better from people who have tried both...

ive only ever tried zero out of the two, but the zero deck was quality i gotta admit, good for flippin and has decent concave which is always inportant, not to bath like and not to flat, jus in the middle of the 2, learnt my first 360 flip with that board i think it was my third deck, i recommend a zero nice to get started with

Yeah I agree with you Whisky: Element Boards suck assssss....... but I like the designs of them. Except the pink BAM designs. Overall, I'd choose Zero, but then again, neither of them are really that good. Go with Chocolate. Or PopWar. Or, if you really want a good deck, try a Trujillo, doesn't matter what type, just a Trujillo. He has a reputation for good decks. I have a used Trujillo deck, and it's awesome. So yeah. That's what I skate, oh, and blanks, you know, like Shop Decks. I go to a shop called NO1 in Kamloops BC. It's a really good deck. I also have a really sucky London Drugs deck I got for Christmas. Kicktail snapped off a week after I got it. Never get Department Store decks. I'm out.

I'd have to choose zero 'cause all the money stays with skaters. Element is now owned by K2 a ski manufacturing company (they've branched out and own a lot more....like ride snowboards) - so all the money isn't staying with skaters. I know this because I used to work for a snowboard shop and the K2 rep also repped for Element and Ride and some others that I forgot - because those companies were owned by K2. And besides - Zero wood is better. Keep your eyes open and keep your money going back in to where it's supposed to - with the people who love and bleed for the sport - and will continue to do so when it's not cool yet again - not some suit who just wants your money!!!
