I love photography, and im hoping to become a pro at it. My art teacher recommended me to a high school already, and she gave me tips to take wonderful pictures, i dont know if they will help you or if they are what your looking for, and i dont know what kind of photography you want to take ( people, landscapes, ect) but what the hell. 1. Find things in nature are different and unique. Find different landscapes and take random shots and you might find something great. 2. Take objects you wouldnt normally put together and take pictures of them ( orange slices, leaves, and screws for example. if you really put your mind to it, they can work quite well.) 3. Take random shots of people. For exaple - somebody walking there dog. A person that looks unique. Someone sitting on the sidewalk. Skateboarders even! 4. Look at your surroundings and see what might look interesting as a photo. 5. Take a picture of dead trees, abandon houses, leaf piles, benches, anything. It may not sound to photogenic, but youd be surprised. Dont know if i helped you, but whatever =)

Yo dawg. Good luck with the photography. I shoot a lot so here's a few suggestions I can offer you. Man, all sorts of people will tell you to use the "rule of thirds" and to shoot photos the way THEY want to see em. I say screw that shit man. Do your own thing. Look outside the box. Don't let people tell you to do things their way or the way a textbook says. Experiement. Film is cheap. Digital is free (after you spend tons to get it) I learned 100% by trial and error. Peep my website if you want too. http://owenwoytowich.tripod.com/owensphotos/ All my stuff is done the way I wanted it, not the way others would. I'd suggest joining a photo website like wheelsandwax.com or skateboardphotography.com. Both are valuable tools in the industry as well as out in the field. Good luck man. Let me know how whe goes. Peace.

I do alot of photography and graphic design along with video editing. I would suggest starting out by getting yourself etheir a canon Rebel T2 with a super telephoto lens if your going with 35mm film... or if your goin digital Olympus makes great digital products. and like the previous guy said.. don't do everything by the book, make things look how YOU want them to look. Try different angles and different lighting try everything.
