Hey bro i been skating for like 2 weeks and the ollie is hard at first. Try it by a sidewalk.
once u get it everything else is schweet!
i got it high and fukd up the landing. but it turned out to be a pop shove it! so the ollie is the base of everything i guess. keep at it.

Ollies are the basics of skating. The easiest thing to start is to start stationary, no moving or even in the grass. Other this to help you is holding on to something. Helps you get your balance and works on sliding your foot more.

When sliding your foot don't worry about sliding your foot up High to get a big Ollie. Start out small and work your way you its the best way to start.

  serious study study study
if you have 1200 people telling you how to do a trick then you will never learn
everyone has different ways of doing everything
watch videos
try different foot stances
and remember siding your foot is super easy keep tryin and tryin you will get it no time

If it helps, maybe you should ask yourself.. "why am I sliding my front foot?"
Because, if you don't have a clue, I can understand how gay of an issue it can be.
Watch my front foot in this Ollie.  Without sliding it towards the nose, the tail would have never reached my back foot (it almost didn't!):

Hope it shines a light.

ok , igot this off the internet somewhere, but try standing next to a sidewalk and ollieing onto the sidewalk. If you do it wrong itll be under yourfeet, if u mess up, the bored wont be there. thats the way i learned. but my mom says im special.

Put your feet in different areas and experiment.
And for landing 90 degrees.. you have to recognize how your standing when you're crouching before the Ollie because, that's how your upper body should be like when you land.. your shoulders parallel to the nose and tail of your skateboard.
Get it?

If you have anymore questions, just post some more here.  This goes for anybody.
