Hilarious Posts : 87 ONLINE	Posted on Mar 15, 2008 Woah, woah, woah, woah. No way Skate tops the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. Plus, that's an unfair comparison by three generations of gaming, lol. I think Skate is a great new way to play skateboaring games, I'll never buy another Tony Hawk version again. But if you really want a challenging skate game, look up Thrasher: Skate and Destroy for the PS1. I still play it to this day, when I'm not playing Skate online.

saturday22 Posts : 99 ONLINE	Posted on May 19, 2008 i have yet to play skate. i have always played thps through out the years though. and ended up losing some. i currently own thps3, thug, and thaw. thugs, my fave. ive seen people play skate, seems like fun. but i only have a gamecube. none of those next gen systems. one day, maybe.

chrisboarder17 Posts : 337 ONLINE	Posted on May 20, 2008 skate is wayy better for the fact that its not "square left" and all that shit. you use the control sticks like you would use your feet. and it is much more realistic. no 1440's out of quarterpipes anymore.

Hilarious Posts : 87 ONLINE	Posted on May 20, 2008 S.K.A.T.E. seems to be played differently by everyone I skate with. Whether its only flip tricks, or obstacles included, or just rules of who goes next when. Skate 2 is coming out soon. Have you seen the trailers?

Whisky Posts : 1138 ONLINE	Posted on May 21, 2008 I have played thps since it first came out on n64, it has grown soooo stale. The only thing it has going for it these days is it has love park in thps 2. But other than that Ea Skate fuckin slays & slices and dices thps no question.
