how do u do a pop shove it

I just started skateing like a week ago since all the snow melted for snowboarding and i need a new hobby i tried pop shove its but when ever i do them i land on the nose of the board and eat shit.

nah you gotta do both at the same time to get the pop and catch stee of shuvs. you should first get ollies down
then start trying the shuv

There's no Ollie in a Shove It!

Pop Shove It is a matter of popping the tail onto the ground at an angle and sending the board into a 180 degree rotation with the scoop of your back foot.  Using your front foot to stop/catch the board mid-air, and landing with both feet on the bolts.
-there's no ollie neccessary.

Actually they're the same damn trick.
People just call them seperate names to make themselves feel like they can do two tricks and not one crappy version of the same exact trick..
