I just built a outdoor halfpipe this weekend so i was wondering if there was anyway to waterproof the masonite. I found this product called seal-krete which says can weatherproof masonite. I was wondering if anyone had every tried that? Would it mess up the skating experience any? Are there any other products that can be used to seal masonite?

i would aleast try it
when we built ours we just used a water proof primer and paint
but no matter what your going to have to replace the masonite becaise it will get damage from boards and the water will find a way in
.....
the best thing we did that cost alittle more money was paint the plywood with water proof primer and paint then got steel for the top
the water proof painted that
last forever
...on another note
make sure your pipe is off the ground or on pavement
if its on a bare ground it will riot faster
