has anyone around here built their own computer? if you did, share some experiences you may have had building it and tell what it was like. also, list teh specs for your machine... for me, i built my first comp when i was 12. it was quite teh experience and took me several days. it was one of the first pentium 4s out there with an ASUS motherboard and pc 2700 RAM. i at first bent a couple of the pins on the CPU, so that was kinda scarry. i painstakingly had to bend em back straight. my current setup: Coolermaster Wavemaster case pentium 4 3.2 GHZ 800 mhz bus 1 gig pc 4000 dual channel 52x32x32 optical drive DVD drive with RW capabilities TT heatsink with front panel fan adjustment 2 SATA Seagate 120 gig drives Asus p4c800-E deluxe speak, gentlemen.....(and lady PC builders..you would be surprised, there actually are a few girl computer geeks)

Well this is my first custom built pc

PSU: 600Watt PSU
Processor: 3.0GHz Duel intel processor 8Mb cache
RAM:  2Gb Ram  512mb 5300 x 4
Graphics cards:  Geforce 8500 GT 512MB dual in SLI
Hard drives: IDE 16GB, IDE 40GB, SATA 160GB
CD Drive: x20 DVD rewriter
Motherboard:  Abit Fatality FP-IN9-SLi Motherboard LGA775 nForce 650i SLi
Fans:4 Red L.E.D 80mm fans + 2 12mm fans

Took about 3 hours to put together but the case I got had a 400Watt PSU that was
Broken so had to wait on the 600Watt to replace it, Runs well but still in the process of
