Ok, this whole thing... to me anyways... is somewhat hilarious. The reason... no around me knows what the hell it’s for and what it exactly is! Yet they persist in protesting and "fight" for what they believe in... Which I don’t even think they know what that is. There are kids running around with Mexican flags and American flags saying things like “--- pride!” For those of you who are one of those people, please, sit and let me enlighten you on what it actually is, and for those of you who know, please feel free to add or what not… This bill is not “this country against that one”. It’s about higher corporate America sending their products overseas so other countries can make what ever it is they are making, for a huge fraction of the cost that it would take to make an American citizen to make. For example, Dell wants to make 500 monitors. Instead of highering citizens to work 8 hours per day at a rate of $8 an hour, they send it to… let’s say China and let them do it for 15 hours per day for 25 cents because they have no labour laws. This new bill is also opening up a worker program, allowing immigrants to come across the borders to do work and make enough money to be able to go through the process to become a US citizen. The process alone takes at least 17 years to become a full legal resident. 11 to do all the necessary paper work and another 6 years to be able to live in the US permanently. If I had more time, I would explain a little more but that is about the gist of it.
