If all your filming is skateboarding then I would suggest getting a vx1000 it's cheaper. I have a gl2 and love it but you have to take more time and care setting it up than the vx.

yea i agree w/ rgl2... get a vx1000 and if u can afford it buy a mark 1 with it, its the widest setup u can get and alot simpler.
