Hey man how you doin? I work pretty much on mac's only these days so I can't really help with software. I know most pc users favour adobe premiere. I ran that program years ago on a win 98 setup and it worked o.k. Try to find a copy of that. Actually I might still have the disc floating around here somewhere, I'll take a look for you. peace

What is it you want to know exactly? Let let me know. I started when I was 16 in the high school dark room, and I've never really treated it that seriously. Not as other bigger names have at least. Just seriously enough.

What are you curious about?

It'll be your art and hobby first, you'll spend your life savings on gear and more gear. You'll waste tones of film (well, maybe not in these digital days). You'll learn the most from pointing out mistakes in your own photos - you'll learn that way the quickest. You also have to look closely to how the pros made there photos look so rad in the mags. What is it they're using? How are they using it all? This includes the background and colors. It's all there in the photographer's mind at the time.

Any way, it's tough as hell in the beginning, so you have to love it enough. You have to have "an eye" as well. And having a lot of cash goes a long, loong way.

It's probably the best job in the world.

I wouldn't know since I've never made a job out of it. If you want to make skateboard photography your career, it has to be you're LIFE as well as your job, cause that's all you'll be doing. Even then you won't get paid very much. The money is not in Skate photography, I truly wish it was, and I've always thought there should be. The scene is simply over-saturated with good photographers or will work for cheep. Mostly because it IS such a great job if you are a skater yourself.
