this is a Poem I read, and thought it was good

SKATER DAYZ

 

 

Some would say that the life I live is gold

But yet it’s hard to hold

Will it remain in power?

Of the nights dark hour

 

Stolen by a thief

Tormented by my grief

Skaterz triumph another day

Nothing old will stay

 

We skaterz skate till’ night

Cause heavy comes the morrow

Who dare out up a fight

Will go down in their sorrow

 

Only we will care

Only we will anguish

Our board and us a pair

Opponents do we vanquish

 

Rain will wet the dead

Never a skate park fled

Rainy days are days to dread

Our boards rest under our beds

 

Another day I wait to stare

With my board resting there

It will never leave or forsake

Cause life is real, it is not fake

 

Though my age will take its toll

And I will be placed in my hole

Cause I was never good at sneaking

With a board that’s always creaking

 

My skater dayz will fill my cup

When we fall we get back up

 Even if my vision is blurred

My skater dayz will never slur

A black man walks into a bar, and the bartendor says, "No colored people allowed."  The black man says, "When I am born I am black, when I am sick I am black, when I and dead I am black.  When you are born you are red, when you are sick you are green, when you are dead you are blue, and you have the nerve to call me colored!"
