who am i really?

hairspray washes out

makeup fades away

i become somebody elese

at the end of each day

ive taken my disguise off

ive thrown it away

my life begins to turn

and go another way

but what if i didnt care

what anyone else thaught

would i still get up

and primp up

at the beginning of each day

or would i just throw on the first thing that i saw

if i didnt care what people think

would i still obey the law?

problly not

but ppl care what ppl think

and so they sink

to the levels of despair

when it all comes down to makeup and hair

but hairspray washes out

and makeup fades away

i become somebody ellse
