Fire

Hatred Blows,
The fire flows,
Building up inside
Under the Skin it dares to hide,
Until it blows up fiercely in fury
Engulfing everyone in a hury.
Yelling, screaming, shouting,
Deep inside those sharp words sting.
The Anger brews, bubbles and pops
It just never stops
Control is lost
Evidence left are bruises showing the cost.

I’m letting go of the strings that bound me
Before emotion’s door
I’m flowing away into the ocean before me
Before hitting the floor
I’m sailing away my friend,
I’m sailing away.

Never goodbye
Just free flowing
Going wherever the current is going
No, I can’t live in this raft forever
But I’ll enjoy it for what its worth till the storm is over.
Not farewell, we’ll again
perhaps soon friend.

Times are changing
I'm cutting the cords that have twisted about me
Letting nothing hold me down.
I promise I'm not leaving as
I drift into this sea
Just relaxing, promising I'll be around.
