Deep in thoughts, a boy sits in stillness
Sinking deeper and lower into his distress
Sparks of memories flash in his mind
Increasing the problem, making him feel more confined

Not long ago, his life was corrupted
It will take him a while to get adjusted
Change can be difficult if not wanted
But struggle occurs when not accepted

Tears streak his pale expression
Crying alone has become an obsession
The passing of his family has left him in dismay
Couple days from now, he’ll be too late to save

Tortured by these feelings constantly
Sadness, betrayal, confusion and fury
All is about to end he makes up his mind
He has finally decided that it is his time

He went to the closet where his father once stood
And picked up the gun and wondered if he should?
Pros and cons filling the space in his brain
He pulled the trigger just as I came

I saw him fall with a look in his eye
I collapse to the floor and started to cry
I’m now at his funeral, one week soon after
And think of the times when there was so much laughter

Change can be hard; I’ve dealt with so much
I can no longer see him or feel his touch
He will be missed by all of his friends
One day it begins and the next it all ends

This is a really pathetic and stupidly childish poem. The words I used to rhyme we're too unadorned. But it's alright cause I wrote this many months ago, at age 12.

You lie awake at night wondering why everything bad happens to you
If only you knew that things happen for a reason
Specific things happen to specific people
Fate is just making it’s way into your life

Save yourself and your freedom for another week
Because then there will be no mercy to spare
Prepare yourself for the future always think ahead
Keep thinking of the possibilities and all will end in contentment

Countless errors that you’ve made in past
All stepping forth invading and corrupting your chances of success
Unwanted secrets spilled from the mouths of others
Friendships trashed at the sight of struggle

Taunting expressions peer through the eyes of your soul
Disruptive intrusions, extending the pain in your heart
Your mind quivers in shame, you start to cower in shade
Slowly and distinctly you descend into stages where your confidence falls

Sacrifices are made in order to keep reputations
Lying and conning your way out of situations you want to ignore
Think straight, head high above all the rest
Covering up mistakes to recuperate self-esteem

After a span of time, all is forgotten
Everything that mattered in the past, vanish from the mind
New tasks and challenges are to be met
Flawless years ahead of you are seen

Today you go on like tomorrows another day
Realizing mistakes happen its just part of life
Watching others go through the same troubles
Binding your time, they shall understand it soon

Once more, errors interrupt your lifestyle
Ignoring them as much as possible
Tossing aside your plans for the present
It’s best to know that you have yourself to save firstly
