To those who dont know, a 360 shuv-it is where you force the board to do a 360 beneath you, without popping the board. to do this trick you must be comfident in a pop shuv and in a shuv.
how to do it:
1) ride at a comfortable speed with with your back foot in the ollie position and your front placed above the bolts (while learning place it dead center and on the ball of your foot)
2) crouch down and prepare to jump
3) jump and shuv your board twice as hard as you would with an ordinary shuv-it. your jump should be more like a leep forward to where you expect the board to be, some times i find it helps to maintain contact with the board through the first 180 of the 360, sometimes my front foot stays in contact with the board all the way through
4) slam your feet back on the board and then you may die at this point. if not, welldone, you win
I found it easier to learn in fakie because i could shuv it better
I have just recently learned a tre flip and i think this trick helped me to get used to making the board do a 360 and all i needed to do was add a flip!!!
