Today is 911,

and my heart is heavy

I think of all our soldier, fightin overseas.

I cry silently,

because I know how scared they must be.

And I pray for the mothers,

who check the mail in fear,

and watch the news with a quivering heart.

SO Lord...

hold them tight,

and hold them up...

on the anniversary of our fallen brothers.
